微涼的秋天悄悄來臨，樹影搖曳，心情也跟著清爽！

[草本主義] 年輪戒指

草本主義的幾天實驗以來，用手邊很多的直徑0.8mm銀線，挑戰極細的戒指造形與質感。敲敲打打了一陣子，練習如何運用0.8mm的線條特性，在銀線極細極軟的情況下，又想保持它簡約的線條感，嘗試了許多組合搭配後，「年輪」的概念便誕生了。

戴在手上時，年輪正面是很細緻的線條，換個角度，側面是年輪的紋路；不管從哪個角度欣賞，都是美麗的！

話說，年輪是木本植物，不屬於草本植物，不過因為草本主義系列而誕生，就也把它歸類到這裡吧！

戒指的戴法與象徵意義

結婚戒指的戴法眾說紛紜，通常是配戴在左右手的無名指上，但也會因為國家、宗教、各地風俗民情而有所不同，代表着各地對婚姻的象徵意義。無論如何，結婚戒指的佩戴是一個重要的象徵意義，代表着對雙方的尊重，或是讓自己時常想起當初配戴時的初衷！

西洋情人節與“小紙條” 之間的故事……

西洋情人節 St. Valentine's Day 最早可追溯到早期羅馬的牧神宗教節慶。 當時的羅馬郊外，有許多野狼在鄰近的森林遊走，給人畜不少威脅。而羅馬人認為牧神，可以驅趕這些野狼，給人們安全，牧神的節慶就是在二月十五日慶祝。漸漸地這個節慶變成，在牧神節的前夕，也就是二月十四日當晚，羅馬女孩子的名字會被寫在一張小紙籤上，再由男孩子抽出，而這一年她就是他的愛人…….。

Wandering in a City

“Wandering in a City” is a project related to a city’s memories represented by jewelries designed by Taiwanese designer Yu-Chiao Wang and Yuan-Chi Tseng. In 2011 they were inspired by their impression and living memories of the city, Tainan. They started to transform the city’s abstract culture and physical appearances into design artifacts following their own experience of living, wandering, observing and interacting with local people. 

To begin with, being residents in Tainan city, Yu-Chiao and Yuan-Chi chose their living experience as the inspiration to create the project’s first presentation “Wandering in Tainan”. In Tainan, wandering in streets, lanes and allies always meets a lot of surprises. We can see temples, chapels, cathedrals and historic relics behind large buildings when turning around into a small ally. When we make another turn, we can see traditional shops and old monuments standing beside new houses. 

In Tainan, there are full of elegant and attractive landscapes waited for people to find out. Inspired by the mixture of nature landscapes and cultural heritages in Tainan, Yu-Chiao and Yuan-Chi used the outlines of the old buildings and nature plants to create a set of silver rings. These silver rings can arouse an imagination of strolling around the city, Tainan.

以台南市建築與生活文化發想，STUDIO YCYC設計師於2011年開發了屬於台南城市面貌縮影的文化精品設計系列，包含飾品設計的戒指、項鍊、耳環等品項。這系列設計結合台南在地生活，在作品中表現出「悠閒散步」與「城市風景瀏覽」等心理感受與視覺認知印象。並以「城市聚落」體現台南城市氛圍與老街舊巷旅行探索經驗。作品富含台灣台南的歷史文化意涵、融合中西式建築風格的府城、古都獨特的時空與藍天、白雲、綠樹交織的天際，以及台南人生活閒適的步調；作品更結合工藝之美與設計功能性，在人們配戴之餘，同時喚起在台南大街小巷散步的回憶與情感體驗，傳達出深刻的台南文化意涵。 

游走台南的大街小巷，總是不斷驚喜著：轉個彎，映入眼簾的是藏在大廈後方小古蹟；拐個巷，冒出了躲在一群新屋子中間的小牌坊。台南，像微縮相片一樣充滿了精緻可人的小風景，等待每個人的發現！
